Is it ok to use an 80-200mm Canon lens that came of a film SLR on my digital SLR?
And if so what would be the difference between a lens from film srl and digital?
IF the Film Camera was a Canon Eos Rebel with the EF lens mount then yes the 80-200mm will work on your Canon DSLR. Since a Canon DSLR like, say, the T1i has a crop factor of 1.6 your 80-200mm lens will have the angle of view of a 128-320mm lens on your 35mm film camera.

The film’s style, like the music, is abrasive, frank, and packed with energy, as it moves swiftly from hilarious band and fan interviews to the loud, raucous shows inside seedy L.A. nightclubs.
